In honor of hometown hero Lance Armstrong’s sixth-straight Tour de France win, Rodolfo Gonzalez is presenting his photography exhibit, An Austin Eye on Le Tour, sponsored by the Austin American-Statesman.
This exhibit beautifully captures the intensity of the grueling three-week competition combined with the amazing scenery of the 2003 Tour de France. Armstrong and his competition are so closely shown that their emotions are visible. Colorful pelotons cruising through scenic landscapes and by historic Parisian landmarks give a sense of setting and grandeur.
The exhibit is located at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport ticketing lobby. The area is accessible to public in the presecurity screening area along the balcony overlooking the baggage claim between Southwest and American Airlines ticket counters.
The exhibit closes August 10.
